My goal for my family sessions is to take a lifestyle photography approach. This means I am focusing on capturing the true spirit and emotion of your family. I will provide some lightly posed images and guide you through your session but the majority of the gallery i will aim to document your family’s connection.
I aim to make everyone feel as comfortable as possible during my sessions. I love to play music during my sessions to put everyone a little more at ease.
First and foremost, getting your photos should be fun! I know it can be stressful to figure out what to wear, or figure out the best location for your family session, but hopefully I can take the stress out of that for you and share ideas in my welcome guides that will help you. Once you book with me you will receive a family session welcome guide (if you are booking a family session). This guide has outfit tips and so many tips on how to have fun at your session and let us capture your connection with your loved ones. You will also receive a location guide which you can choose which location you feel fits your family best!

-Next is to pay your $100 non-refundable retainer and sign your contract online to hold your date.
-Then i will send you over your welcome guide ( if booking a family session)
-Next you choose a location from my location guide!

-We capture MAGIC at your session!
-I edit and deliver your gallery to you in a online gallery available for you to download.

HOW MANY IMAGES WILL I RECEIVE?
You will receive 4o or more edited photos in an online gallery available to download.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR FOR MY SHOOT?
Neutral tones and earth tones photograph the best! When you book with me i will send you over a welcome guide that shows you how to pair colors together for your family's outfits!
how would you describe your photography style?
I try and keep my family photography very natural, capturing the action as it happens. I try to bring in prompts to create those natural moments with your family. I also encourage a-lot of just playing and interacting as a family. I feel this will bring out the true character of your children and will also make the session more enjoyable.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I HAVE TO CANCEL?
We reschedule! I am totally understandable of sick kiddos! I want it to be a good experience for everyone. The total you have paid towards your session will go towards the date you reschedule for!
WHAT IF THERE'S BAD WEATHER?
I'll get in touch a couple of days before the shoot (after consulting the weather forecast) and if it looks like rain or bad weather I will give you the option to either reschedule or go ahead with the session depending on how bad the weather is.
WHAT time do sessions take place?
The ideal time is 2 hours - 1 hour before sunset depending on the location you choose. This is the ideal time because it gives the most soft natural even lighting on everyone.
do you take traditional posed shots?
Yes, I always try to get a couple shots of everyone looking at the camera but I spend more time capturing moments and connections between you are your family.
HOW DO YOU ACCEPT PAYMENTS?
I take all payments online through my client management system Honeybook. It makes it super easy for me to send you over an invoice and for you to make a payment online!

Lets do this! There is no better time then now to get started planning your session! Life gets busy and before you know it the kids will be another year older! It is so special to have your family documented through all of your kids ages! Lets face it as the kids get older your family changes along with it. It will be so special to be able to look back on all of those different phases of life you were in and really be able to see those connections through your photographs.
